Isolation of gas meters

Kensa have extensive knowledge of the processes involved in utility disconnections. We offer the highest quality, customer focused service via our nationwide network of operatives and extremely experienced office team.

Working in conjunction with our carefully selected partners, Kensa can carry out the following:

Pre-disconnection visits (PDV)
These are a legal requirement for isolation. During these visits relevant information can also be obtained.

Resolution visits and cash collection
With the full permission of our client and where appropriate, we can take full or partial payment to resolve a debt situation.

2nd pre-disconnection visits (PDV)
Sometimes it is appropriate to offer a secondary visit to attempt to settle the account before the warrant is executed.

Court attendance
We arrange for the application and collection of all warrants necessary for isolations to proceed.

Isolation attendance
Our agents, engineers (and if required locksmiths) attend isolations where necessary. The agents liase with all operatives onsite and produce reports including full photographic evidence, where applicable. In the event that a customer is able to settle their account, and with full permission of the supplier/client, the agent arranges to take payment.

Asset removal
With express permission of the client and where applicable, our fully qualified engineers will remove the meter. ​
Following removal we will carry out all necessary data closure and either disposal of said meter, or arrange for it to be returned to the asset owner.
